The Bournemouth Open Tournament is a fantastic event run on the beautiful South Coast often supported by over 1,000 players in several disciplines.
In years gone by several sponsors came forward to help support the event in return for marketing in the event programme and finals day. Now with a Facebook page and website the marketing reach is even further for local and national businesses alike.
The tournament costs just under £2,000 per year to run given necessary expenses such as public liability insurance, Bowls England tournament licence, programme printing, umpire fees and coffee vouchers to name a few.
Currently these costs are paid for out of the entry fees received for the tournament with the balance of entry fees forming the prize fund for the tournament. Sponsors that come onboard and support this great tournament will help bolster the prize fund and in return receive invaluable marketing opportunities in the Bournemouth area and online, as well as the opportunity to attend the finals day each year to bring their own marketing materials should they so wish.
As we look to run the 2024 tournament we should be grateful to hear from you and please get in touch using the contact page on the website, the Facebook page or by e-mailing admin@bournemouthopenbowls.co.uk.
